Wedding: Tasha Patusky and Henry Hensley

A couple of months ago, we had the opportunity to celebrate Tasha and Henry’s wedding. They are another Georgetown couple – though they met through Emily’s graduate program.

It was a beautiful summer day, and wasn’t even that hot (for an August day in DC). The church was lovely, and the ceremony was heartfelt. After the sermon, the priest asked the couple if they were ready to get married. They both enthusiastically nodded yes, with big smiles on their faces. Tasha is always a very pretty girl, but she looked absolutely beautiful that day.

There was a bit of time between the ceremony and the reception, so we were able to spend some time with Anthea and Shamus (whose wedding we celebrated only weeks earlier). The reception was quite a celebration, with delicious food and cute favors – white chocolate in the shape of the memorials. Rob made sure he got a Jefferson Memorial for us, since that will always be our special spot. We had fun dancing the evening away with my friends from graduate school. We were honored to be invited to the wedding.

Congratulations, Tasha and Henry!
