Sakura

A couple weeks after we returned from California our city, Washington DC, put on its finest as the cherry blossoms came out to enjoy the beautiful weather.  We were also lucky in that Emily’s parents and sister came for a visit at the same time.  Thus, it was a family trip to marvel at the beautiful Tidal Basin and Jefferson Memorial.  Emily and I strode off for a little bit as we reminisced about the night we got engaged under the cherry blossoms.  This is where we had one of our first dates and will continue to be a special place to us.  If you ever have the chance head on down to DC for the cherry blossoms, but if you can’t make it check out some of our photos below or the ones in our gallery.
