Wedding: Missy Paradise & Ben Arnett
Last week we wrote about the 4th of July fireworks in Ohio. Though we greatly enjoyed those, we actually were in Ohio for the wedding of Missy and Ben. The two of them married on a beautiful, cloudless day at St. Joan of Arc Church, where Missy attended school. Emily and I were so happy to see their relationship progress from meeting Missy’s boyfriend to watching them pledge their lives as partners.
Emily cried (of course) as we watched Al walk Missy down the aisle, and I know he tried his hardest to keep tears from his eyes. However, as all eyes turned to watch Al hand Missy over to Ben, there were very few dry eyes when we saw Ben’s huge smile.
Outside the church, the newlyweds were greeted by a wall of bubbles before making their way to Chagrin Falls. Eventually, everyone found their way to the reception for a delicious meal and wonderful evening celebrating Ben, Missy, and their families. Some of the highlights included Ben’s brother singing the two of them a song, dancing non-stop, and finding out my parents were the longest married couple (by a couple months) at the wedding. We were too busy dancing, eating, and having fun to take photos at the reception, but here are some from the wedding (Some were taken by my brother-in-law, John).

[...] has become a bit of tradition that we attend weddings over the Fourth of July weekend. This year was no different. [...]
